What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs are based on your purchase amount. Orders over $300 are FREE! See chart below for complete list of shipping costs. For local pickup select 'Local Pickup' option for delivery.

$0.01 - $25.00 is $5
$25.01 - $47.00 is $7
$47.01 - $100.00 is $9
$100.01 - $200.00 is $13
$200.01 - $300.00 is $17
$300.01 and up is FREE
*Iowa residents are subject to 7% sales tax
What delivery methods do you use?
Orders are shipped via USPS First Class or Priority Mail. Insurance is NOT included in purchases but can be included. If you are interested in adding insurance, contact us and we'll find out the cost for your order.

Do you ship internationally?
Unfortunately we don’t currently offer shipping internationally. Please contact us if you need international shipping to see if we can accommodate your needs.

When will my order arrive?
We strive to ship your order within 7-9 business days after purchase, pending we have items available. This may vary slightly depending on volume of orders, family vacations, and made-to-order/specialty orders. If there is a delay in your order, we will let you know and do everything possible to get it out ASAP. Please note that with priority shipping, your order will arrive about 3 days after shipping. If you need an order shipped sooner, please contact us prior to making your purchase. We will work very hard to accommodate your deadlines for rush orders upon request.

An item from my order is damaged ... what now?
We are so happy to have you as a customer and hope you will love your new item! If you received an item with defects or damages not caused by normal wear and tear, including but not limited to loose stitching and the like, we will gladly exchange the damaged item for an undamaged one. If this is the case, please contact us for exchange approval within five days of receipt of your item. Natural flaws, cracks, and/or dents in fabrics will not be considered damage. Please be aware flaws in the material do not qualify your product as damaged. If the product you receive is some how structurally damaged, please contact us within five days of receiving the item.
*Products by 3rd party makers: On the rare occasion damage occurs to an item by one of our Iowa Makers during shipping, please first confirm insurance was purchased for the package. Afterwards, proceed to make a claim with shipper for damage during transit. Many items may not be able to be replaced due to their handmade nature and thus a claim is the best method to proceed. We do apologize for this inconvenience.

Can I exchange my handmade piece?
We are so happy to have you as a customer and hope you will love your new item! If you placed an order directly from Handcrafted FCD and are dissatisfied with the item you received, you have the option to exchange your item within 5 days of receipt, for an item of equal value. Please contact us for exchange approval. We require proof of purchase and will verify receipt of item was within approved time-frame. Items for exchange must be sent via insured, prepaid USPS Priority Mail. We cannot accept items sent by UPS or other carriers, CODs, or courier deliveries. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with exchange. If your item was purchased from one of our retailers you'll need to refer to their return/exchange policy. Custom pieces & made-to-order are not eligible for returns/exchanges.

I had an item personalized or custom made and changed my mind ... now what?
We do not accept returns or exchanges on any personalized or custom orders unless damaged or defective. If you have received a personalized or custom made item arrived damaged, please see 'An item from my order is damaged ... what now?' above.

Can I return my handmade piece?
We do not accept returns unless item has damages or defects not caused by normal wear and tear, but you can exchange your item within 5 days of receipt with proof of purchase. Please see 'Can I exchange my handmade piece?' above.

I saw you at a show and loved at a piece you made and now would love to purchase it. I don't see it online can I still buy it?
It never hurts to ask! Contact us and we'd be happy to check if it's still available. I also sometimes enjoy making one-of-a-kind prints, so just ask!
