Hi! I am Christina … the loving, creative whirlwind behind all the sweet and stylish designs on this site.
Who am I?
I am a follower of Christ. I am a wife, mother, and teacher. I am a small-town girl who LOVES to sew! My grandmother passed this love down to me, along with everything she knew about sewing. Every stitch I make is in honor of this lady who nurtured in me a love for fabric, sewing, and all things handmade.

Handcrafted FCD started out with the desire for a stylish tote to carry all my teaching ‘stuff’ back and forth to school. It quickly expanded as friends and family realized they had many uses for reversible totes in colorful patterns. Over the years, in addition to our original Reversible Totes, our product list has grown to include Clutches, Makeup Bags, Backpacks, Messenger Bags, Kitchen Towels & Aprons, Throw Blankets, Candles, Seasonings, Cards, Books, Gifts and so much more! I am always on the lookout for new thoughtfully curated, women owned, Iowa made goods.
